Nadia Dallsingh
Nadia Dallsingh, RGN, BSc, MSc, is an esteemed
Cardiac Specialist Nurse Practitioner with a career spanning over thirty years
in the National Health Service (NHS). Her passion for cardiology nursing has
been the cornerstone of her journey since 1994, where she has dedicated herself
to advancing patient care in various domains of cardiovascular health. Nadia's
expertise lies in interventional cardiology, particularly in areas related to
coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndrome, heart failure, and cardiac
rehabilitation. Her extensive experience in the field has taken her through
diverse roles, starting with nine years in cardiac critical care settings from
1994 to 2003. Subsequently, she transitioned into cardiac diagnostics, risk
prevention/intervention, research, and cardiac rehabilitation, a phase that
continued from 2003 to 2015.
In her current role since January 2015, Nadia
plays a pivotal role in screening and preparing patients for elective cardiac
procedures. These encompass a wide range, including angiograms, percutaneous
coronary interventions, transcatheter aortic valve interventions, cardiac
ablations, pacemakers, and internal cardiac defibrillators. Her dedication to
ensuring a smooth and informed experience for patients undergoing these
procedures underscores her commitment to patient-centred care. Nadia's
overarching goal is to contribute to the education and training of nurses,
enabling widespread access to information and care for cardiac conditions
within the general population. Through her extensive knowledge and hands-on
experience, she strives to empower healthcare professionals to deliver the
highest quality of care in the realm of cardiology, ultimately improving
outcomes for individuals with cardiovascular concerns.
